The Website
Opentoworld is a job search site dedicated to connecting job seekers with visa-sponsored job opportunities across the globe.
When you apply for jobs abroad, if the job does not support a visa and you do not have an existing right to work in that country, your application will not be considered. We only list jobs that are eligible to provide you with visa sponsorship or work permits in various countries worldwide, allowing you to focus on job applications without needing to navigate visa requirements and sifting through multiple websites. This will help you move to another country with a job and visa more easily.
Unlike other job search sites, Opentoworld is specifically tailored for job seekers who are looking for opportunities worldwide and who need visas to work in a different country.
We also list hidden visa-sponsored job opportunities which are not actively advertised by companies on job search platforms to give you the maximum exposure.
A visa-sponsored job is a job that is open to receiving applications from people who do not have an unrestricted right to work in the destination country. In other words, a visa-sponsored job comes with a work visa. If you successfully receive a job offer by applying for a visa-sponsored job, your employer will often support you in obtaining a work visa/permit to legally work in the country where you want to move to.
It is important to note that visa-sponsored jobs are not only for foreigners. Those jobs also accept applicants from local candidates. However, applications from foreign applicants will be reviewed alongside other local applicants.
Unless your country has a specific agreement with another country that gives you the right to work, you will most likely need a work visa or work permit to work in another country. For example, if you are from an EU member country, you do not need a work permit to work in another EU member country. You can check such information from your government's website.
Our platform is designed for job seekers of all nationalities looking for visa-sponsored opportunities worldwide. We cater to diverse industries and list jobs from verified global employers.
While some of our offerings are free and open to anyone, we charge those who wish to access different services a small subscription fee.
At Opentoworld, we do not solely rely on jobs that are posted by employers on the website. We actively collect vacancy information that is not publicly advertised from various companies and platforms and bring you the maximum number of opportunities. This requires significant labour and resources. We can only maintain this with your subscription and support.
You can learn more about our plans and prices here.
We filter and verify the majority of our vacancies, and they are eligible for visa sponsorship. All you need to do is apply for jobs on our Jobs page.
When you receive a job offer from a visa-sponsoring employer for an eligible vacancy in a country, your employer will assist you with obtaining relevant work rights in that country. Once your visa or work permit is approved, you will then be able to move to that country, and in most cases, you can also bring your family.
However, in order to be eligible for a visa, in addition to having a job offer, you must also meet certain other requirements. You can check each country's specific requirements with our Country Guide.
It is important to remember that employers' sponsorship policy is subject to change, and it is under their discretion whether to sponsor a candidate or not.
To register, visit our homepage and click on the 'Sign Up' button. Follow the instructions to create an account. You'll need to provide some basic information, including your email address, and create a password.
Once the account is created, you will need to verify your email address by following the instructions on the screen. You will not be able to register an account without verifying your email address.
You can easily navigate through our platform to find jobs that align with your skills and expertise. Our platform allows you to search for opportunities in various global locations by keyword, industry or job level.
In most cases, we verify with employers to confirm whether they sponsor a visa/work permit. However, employment and immigration rules are subject to changes, and employers may change their sponsorship policy without any prior notice. If you find out that any employer or position listed here does not provide sponsorship anymore, please let us know by reporting the job function or by contacting us.
You can apply for jobs in any country that is listed on Opentoworld and where employers are open to sponsoring visas for international candidates.
We continuously add new countries. However, if the country you want to work in is not listed, please let us know. We will endeavour to include that country in our list.
In most cases, you do not need to have studied in your destination country. Therefore, we encourage you to apply for any suitable jobs.
However, if being a graduate of a destination country is a requirement, the employer will often state it in the job description.
Subject to our Terms and Conditions, if you are a subscriber of our 6-month plan and successfully receive a job offer by applying for visa-sponsored jobs through Opentoworld, we will guide you on how to apply for a work visa/permit for your destination country.
Please note that we are not an immigration advisor, and we do not submit your application on your behalf or review your documents. We also cannot assess your eligibility for a visa. However, we will guide you step-by-step on visa application if your employer does not assist you.

If a job is labelled as 'In Country', to be eligible to apply for that job, you must already be in that destination country on a different visa, such as a student visa. Your employer will then help you obtain a work visa/permit if you successfully receive a job offer.
Graduate jobs are specifically aimed at individuals who have recently completed a university degree or in their final year of study. Employers looking for graduate job candidates typically expect a certain level of academic achievement and skills that are associated with university education. These jobs often have a structured training programme and are designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed in a specific profession. They might also offer more opportunities for progression within the company or industry.
Entry-Level jobs are open to candidates at the beginning of their career, regardless of their educational background. While some entry-level jobs may require a degree, others are open to individuals with a high school diploma, associate degree, or vocational training. Entry-level jobs might not offer the same structured progression as graduate jobs. The focus is often on gaining experience in the workplace, learning basic professional skills, and understanding the industry.
After you receive a job offer, your employer will guide you on the appropriate steps to take. They will often complete background checks and start working on your visa application.
If your employer does not provide any support after offering you a job, please contact us.

General
The time frame for receiving a job offer after applying can vary. Some candidates may receive an offer within a few days or weeks if the fit is clear and the employer is looking to hire quickly. For others, especially for roles requiring more specific skills or higher levels of experience, the process may take several weeks to months. It is also important to set realistic expectations. If you do not have the skills, qualifications and experience the employers are looking for, you may not receive a job offer at all.
Based on the information from people who received a job offer previously, on average, it took 6-9 months to receive a job offer, the quickest being one month and the longest being 14 months.
We recommend actively applying for jobs and consistently following up on your applications to stay updated on your job prospects. You will not receive any job offer if you do not apply or stop applying.
A decision on your visa will be made by the local immigration office. To be qualified for a visa, in addition to having a job offer, you may need to meet certain other requirements. You can read more on our country guide page.
You can find more information on our resources and country guide pages. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, you can contact us via support@opentoworld.com or via our Contact Us page.
